What can you expect?

The Nepal luxury tour of 8 days takes you sightseeing in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Furthermore, the package includes a mountain flight past Mt Everest and the Himalayas, as well as a jungle safari in Chitwan National Park! Nobel Holidays provides certain luxury elements within the tour by booking only the best available luxury hotels and providing you with private ground transportation!

Mt Everest mountain flight and sightseeing in Kathmandu:

Nobel Holidays starts the Nepal luxury tour of 8 days off with a scenic and exciting mountain flight along the Nepalese Himalayas and, of course, the world’s highest mountain, Mt. Everest (8,849m/29,032ft). During the flight, you’ll get to see incredible above 8,000m/26,247ft peaks such as Mt. Cho-Oyu (8,188m/26,864ft) and Mt. Lhotse (8,516m/27,940ft).

For about 50 to 60 minutes, the plane makes scenic routes above and along the Himalayas before landing again at Kathmandu’s airport. In the afternoon, Nobel Holidays takes you on a cultural sightseeing tour inside Kathmandu. We’ll visit the famous Swayambunath Stupa and the Boudhanath Stupa first, and in the late afternoon, one of Nepal’s most important Hindu temples, the Pashupatinath Temple. The entire tour will be by private vehicle and with your own personal local and licensed tour guide.

Fly to Pokhara and sightseeing:

Day 3 and 4 of the Nepal luxury tour will be spent in Pokhara. This incredible scenic and beautiful city is truly one of the best places to visit in Nepal. After breakfast, we transfer to Kathmandu’s airport and fly for about 35 minutes to Pokhara. Located just southeast of the Annapurna Himalayas, Pokhara offers incredible views of those snow-capped mountains and lies on the banks of Phewa Lake, which reflects the entire scenery on its water’s surface.

We’ll be staying at one of Pokhara’s luxury hotels, and after check-in, we head to Phewa Lake to enjoy a midday boating tour and a visit to the Tal Barahi Temple, which is located on a small island. In the afternoon, we take a short walking tour along the banks of Phewa Lake and Pokhara’s Lakeside Street.

The next day we have an early wake-up call and drive up to Sarangkot Hill for one of the most breathtaking sunrise views in Nepal. Sarangkot’s viewpoint allows you to see a part of the Annapurna Himalayan Range and the Pokhara Valley with Phewa Lake! Having enjoyed the views, we drive back to your luxury hotel for breakfast.

The entire day is filled with sightseeing in Pokhara, and we first visit the World Peace Shanti Stupa, followed by the iconic Davi’s Falls waterfall and the Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, which runs beneath the waterfall. In the afternoon, we plan a visit to the International Mountain Museum before returning to your luxury hotel.

Jungle safari at Chitwan’s National Park:

For the last part of the Nepal luxury tour, we plan to go wild in the jungles of Nepal. Our destination is Chitwan National Park, at Sauraha. We drive by private vehicle from Pokhara to Chitwan after breakfast. The drive takes about 4 hours with plenty of stops next to scenic landmarks!

It’s incredible to see the landscape change from hilly mountains into flat terrain. We’ll check in to one of the luxury hotels and enjoy lunch before heading into the jungle. Our local licensed guide takes us through the jungle, showcasing the various fauna and flora before reaching a local Tharu village.

During the jungle walk, you’ll get to see some of the famous Asian elephants and have a high chance of spotting the One-Horned rhino. In the evening before dinner, the Tharu perform a special cultural dance for us, and we are invited to join them as well! The next day we begin by taking a scenic and relaxing canoe ride on the Rapti River, which runs along the border of the National Park.

The river is inhabited by crocodiles, so we’ll make sure to avoid them at the time of their sunbathing! After this, we’ll head into the National Park by jeep and try to spot the elusive Royal Bengal tiger. In the afternoon, when the sun is high, we head to another part of the river where the elephants take their daily baths.

You are invited to join them and help rub their skin with the cool water of the river! Our last stop is a visit to the Elephant Preservation & Health Center. Here, elephants are taken care of and looked after. The Center also has access to a small and modest museum dedicated to the relationship between elephants and humans in these parts of Nepal.

The next day we fly back to Kathmandu and enjoy the last of your time in Nepal before concluding Nobel Holidays’ Nepal luxury tour!

Pokhara as well as Kathmandu have many more sightseeing landmarks to visit and activities to do, such as paragliding, rafting, hiking, bungee jumping and zip-lining. To book any additional activities during the Nepal luxury tour of 8 days, do mention it to us during your booking or during the tour itself!

Special side note: For Chitwan’s jungle safari, Nobel Holidays guarantees that no animal abuse is tolerated by Nepalese law, and every animal is treated right even during elephant safaris.
