Day
01Arrival in Kathmandu+
- Upon your arrival, our team member will be there to receive you
- Transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu and check in
- Meet and greet with your guide

02Kathmandu Sightseeing+
- Hotel breakfast
- Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu:
- Visit the Swayambunath Stupa
- Visit the Boudhanath Stupa
- Visit the Pashupatinath Temple
- Visit Kathmandu’s Durbar Square
- Transfer back to your hotel
- The rest of the evening is free
- Overnight stay at your hotel
Traveler’s note: Did you know that today’s sightseeing places are the four most famous landmarks of the Kathmandu Valley? See incredible views from atop the Swayambunath Stupa, make a round tour around Boudhanath Stupa, visit the Guru priests at the Pashupatinath Temple, and explore the alleys and temples of Kathmandu Durbar Square!

03Drive to Sundarijal + trek to Chisapani (2,135m/7,005ft)+
- Hotel breakfast + check-out
- Scenic drive to Sundarijal
- Final trek/hike prep and gear check
- Start the trek towards the Shivapuri National Park entrance
- Follow the stone steps up to Chisapani through jungle hills
- Check in at your hotel
- Enjoy the evening exploring around Chisapani
- Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel
Traveler’s note: Did you know that Chisapani literally translates to “cold water”? The town got its name due to the cool atmosphere and source of water that can be found here! It takes an average of 5 hours to reach Chisapani from Sundarijal.

04Trek to Nagarkot (2,175m/7,136ft)+
- Early wake-up call + enjoy a stunning sunrise view from Chisapani
- Hotel breakfast + check out
- Continue through the Shivapuri National Park
- Make your way by heading down to Chauki Bhanjyang
- Head gradually up towards Nagarkot
- Arrive at Nagarkot + hotel check-in
- (Optional: evening hike to the viewpoint for a stunning sunset view from Nagarkot)\
- Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel
Traveler’s note: Did you know that you can see most of the famous Himalayan Mountain Ranges from Nagarkot! We try to go to bed on time, as the next morning we have a sunrise to catch around 4.30 am!

05Trek to Dhulikhel (1,550m/5,085ft)+
- 4 am Wake-up call + hike to Nagarkot’s viewpoint for a stunning sunrise view
- Hotel breakfast + check-out
- Trek down the Shivapuri National Park
- Exit the jungle and continue along farmland
- Reach at Dhulikhel + hotel check-in
- Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure
- Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel
Traveler’s note: Did you know that Dhulikhel has a Superman zipline! Most hotels have swimming pools with panoramic views, and near Dhulikhel is a mountain viewpoint, which makes for a great short hike.

06Trek to Namobuddha (1,750m/5,742ft) + drive to Bhaktapur+
- Hotel breakfast + check-out
- Trek towards the Shanti Stupa uphill
- Descend towards Kavre
- Continue on the trail to Namobuddha
- Lunch at Namobuddha
- Visit the Namobuddha Monastery
- Drive to Bhaktapur
- Hotel check-in
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel
Traveler’s note: Did you know that near the Namobuddha Monastery there is a cave where, according to legend, Buddha offered a piece of his own flesh to a starving tigress and her two cubs?

07Bhaktapur and Patan sightseeing + drive back to Kathmandu+
- Hotel breakfast + check-out
- Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour around Bhaktapur’s Durbar Square:
- Visit the Palace Museum
- Explore around Potteries Square
- Visit the paper factory
- Drive to Patan
- Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour around Patan’s Durbar Square
- Drive back to your hotel in Kathmandu
- The rest of the evening is free
- Overnight stay at your hotel
Traveler’s note: Did you know that Bhaktapur and Patan used to be their own separate kingdoms along with Kathmandu? Seeing their own unique Durbar Squares lets you appreciate the difference in culture as well. For lunch, we do recommend one of the restaurants around Patan!
