Good to know before you go
Generally, spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are considered the best time to visit Bhutan. During this season, the weather remains favourable for sightseeing and outdoor activities. Also, you can enjoy a clear view of the Himalayan landscape, and chances of rainfall are lower during this time. Additionally, the road conditions are favourable for exploring Paro, Thimphu, and Punakha.
Travelling during the winter(December to February) is also possible, but expect fewer crowds, cold and freezing temperatures. In the monsoon, due to frequent rain and obstructed views, we generally do not recommend a Bhutan tour.
